   The purpose of the National Art Education Association is to promote professional development in art education, advancement of knowledge, and leadership. To that end, the Association will: sponsor informational, community outreach, and promotional activities, provide an effective transition from art education preparation to professional practice, promote an exchange of ideas in substantive art education and all areas of the visual arts, and maintain a high standard of quality art education on campus and in the community.
