My Movies
For as long as I can remember, my dad has loved John Wayne movies. Maybe they
stick out because his usual roll as the crime-preventing sheriff or their simple
Western storyline. In addition, the presence of a damsel in distress can link them
to Scooby Doo [Daphne]. This image shows the cowboy-figure's importance to America.
In addition, I see superheros etched in my mind too. Maybe its more of the
problem solving that I enjoy. Or the damsel in distress. Though I'm not sure, I've
always been drawn to a confused everyday citizen stepping up to make a difference.
I guess there could be a cape in my future...
