At first, the books I read were about animals. I collected many series involving horses up until or maybe through middle school. It was then Harry Potter came aobut of course. For me, its was a flirting with my love of magic. It also became another link to my dad as we would often share the huge novels and then compare reactions.

Now, I enjoy what is called 'Chic-Lit.' I think they deal alot with friends and love, 2 things that have become more important to me as I've aged. Groups of friends are often depicted as well. Furthermore, those dealing with the lives of the rich and famous interest me as a way to explore a lifestyle I'm unfamiliar with. The story becomes 'juicy' for those reasons. In addition, girl drama is always a central theme and though heightened in the book, I can easily relate. Final thoughts

I've always been a bookworm and here on campus, Library West is my favorite place to work.
