| I think that the key to learning is to understand how to apply knowledge learned in the classroom to the real world. This knowledge includes not only core subjects such as math and science, but knowledge about other cultures and backgrounds. It is important to make sure that students have the tools they need to apply this knowlege in their lives, and I think that using a student-oriented approach in the classroom is the best way to help students do so. By allowing students to work in groups, use computer programs and other technology, and become involved in class projects they can learn to work with each other and apply knowledge. I think that in assignments where students can personally be involved, they learn more about each other and the subject. In classrooms where education is student centered, learning can be fun and useful to all students. |
