Step 2: Selecting Your Thrift Stores
Although there are many thrift stores in Gaineville and the surrounding towns, these five have become my favorites. Descriptions, addresses and contact numbers are below.
Goodwill on S.W. 34th St. is certainly one of my favorites, but I'll admit that I'm a little biased. It it within easy walking distance of my home, and I've been paying visits for more than two years now.

Goodwill on N.W. 13th St. is a little farther away, and I haven't had quite as much luck here as I have at the closer Goodwill, but it's a lovely store nonetheless. One of my favorite aspects of both Goodwills are their CD racks, which sell discs for one dollar each.

Flashbacks is a tiny but delightful store. Besides the fact that bins by the register are occasionally filled with pieces reduced to a dollar or two each, you'll occasionally find a cat wandering around the store.

Haven Hospice Attic Resale is one of the most interesting thrift stores I've ever been to. I've had the pleasure of finding a soda machine, leading a friend to a wonderful vintage skirt and hearing a pianist play and sing.
