I can describe myself in one word: me.
I could tell you lots of frivolous things about myself. I could tell you my interests or what I like to do, or what music I listen to or who my family is, or even what I did today.
I'd like to say a lot of profound things. I'd love for you to love me. I'd die to leave some sort of impression in this world... But I know that in the end, none of it will matter, though I can never seem to convince my selfish human self otherwise. I am broken, imperfect, hopelessly flawed... ...And at the same time made perfect.
Because when all is said and done, the only thing that will matter is that I have been redeemed by a love that surpasses even my own understanding.
That love is Jesus Christ.
