During my last semester at the University of Florida I plan to intern at the AIDS Education and Training Center here in Gainesville. During my internship I plan to attend and assist at different conferences that would be held. Also I plan to be involved and gain knowledge and experience with AIDS counseling and education. After graduation at UF I plan to attend to the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Science Campus, to earn a doctoral degree in pharmaceutical sciences. This graduate program is oriented to the understanding of the scientific principles of the techniques utilized in the pharmaceutical industry. After graduation I plan to work for the pharmaceutical industry in the research field in Puerto Rico. My main goal is to contribute with the progress of society by providing accurate and helpful information and promoting a better quality of life with the help of science and technology.
