Travel
As a sports fan, I've been to a few stadiums. Al Lang stadium in Tampa, Florida, where the North American Soccer League Tampa Bay Rowdies play, and Florida Field at Ben Hill Griffin, commonly referred to as The Swamp, stick out as two notable places. However, the one stadium I keep returning to is Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Raymond James serves as the home field for the NFL team Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as well as hosting the University of South Florida's football program.
Personal History
As a Bucs fan, going to Raymond James on more than one occasion is a must. Whether it is the amazing tailgate parties or the ship's cannons that sound off every score that bring me back is up for debate, but the fact remains it is probably one of my favorite sports venues.
My last trip there ended with me seeing a Bucs loss for the first time in my history of going there, as it happened while the Bucs were on what would come to be a 10-game losing streak to end the season 4-12. I did get two shirts and a jersey during that visit, though, so it was not a total loss.
