My name is Lindsay Weaver, and I am a fourth-year student
at the University of Florida, where I am studying journalism. So I obviously spend a lot of time at the College of Journalism and Communications. I also have an outside concentration in psychology.
I grew up in Oviedo, Fla., which is very close to Orlando, and I've lived in the same house since I was 3 years old. I ended up at UF mostly because I couldn't imagine going to the University of Central Florida, which is about five minutes away from my home. And now that I'm here, I wouldn't trade it for anything, as cliche as that sounds. I absolutely love life in Gainesville and am even considering graduate school just to stay longer! It looks like I'll be able to study abroad in France next summer, pushing my graduation back at least until the end of summer. My brother, Ryan, who is 19 years old, also attends UF. It's just the two of us, so that makes it easy on our parents when they want to visit us.
