The newest instrument is this Ovation mandolin, a gift from my parents to my wife. She's a country fan, and a number of country fiddlers do double duty with the mandolin. Turns out her violin skills are quite transferrable.
We actually picked this up on eBay from a family in Washington state. It apparently sat in its case, essentially untouched. The finish is beautiful, and we're very impressed with the quality of Ovation. |
