Lex's bike

Alexis Dold is the man who started it all.  Not only did he outfit me, Andy, Marshall, and John with our bicycles, but he also has his own bike shop, Bikes and More, his own frame-welding business, Villin, and even his own wife and kid.

Lex must make quality frames because the red fixed gear he rides is a Villin original.  This bike is the first single speed that I ever saw in person, and the first fixie that I ever tried riding.

Notice the Nitto Moustache handlebars; a favorite addition to Lex's finer bicycles.

The signature look of a Villin frame is its bowed seat stays, which provide passive suspension and a slightly smoother ride, and at the same time make the rider look like a seasoned townie who knows what they're doing.
Ah, Villin.  Such a catchy name.

If you want to know what it means though, you should ask the craftsman.
