bike shop, Bikes and More, is where I first sought out
my singlespeed road bike many moons ago, and it
is where I have since taken three of my other friends to get singlespeeds of
their own.The joint is never too crowded, it's reasonably close to campus, and they always have an assortment of classic used road bikes on hand just waiting to be stripped of their gears and freed to singledom.
If you're interested in a handmade Villin frame, this is the place to go as well.
I
reckon Lex sells lots of other stuff too besides just singlespeed road
bikes. I got some good bar tape and a nice lock there before.
They also do repairs on ridiculous bikes of all kinds, as evidenced by the motley crew of local clientele who frequent the shop with their ancient-treasures-on-wheels.
