Contract Details

In the Fall 2011 season, the ACC launched its new contract period with ESPN/ABC. The deal last until 2022-2023 and is worth $155 million. Split evenly, each school will receive $13 million, a 157% increase over the previous contract. This contract does not entire deal with football, though.

Men's and women's basketball, as well as many of the Olympic sports will receive greater coverage from ESPN. On the football side, ESPN holds exclusive rights to every conference controlled football game. This means they are the national cable and broadcast home for the conference and distributor of syndicated telecasts through their agreement with long time ACC broadcaster Raycom.

In addition to Raycom (ACC Network), ESPN will sublicense games to the Regional Sports Network in ACC markets.
