Music, Dancing, & Singing I started to play violin when I was seven years old. Although I do not play it regularly now, music is still my favorite. I love musical as well, especially these masterpieces such as Cats, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, etc. Dancing and Singing is also a good way to release one's burden. I have taken courses like Dancing and Modern Dance at Zhejiang University. Besides, I was once a member of Ling-Yun Chorus at Zhejiang University. Sketch Drawing & Painting I begin to draw ever since I was ten years old. I learnt charcoal drawing and pencil sketch from a professional school. I like traditional Chinese painting very much. I also like landscape sketch using pen and ink. Movies I love watching movies. Movies inspire me a lot in many aspects. Some movies improve my imagination and make me more creative; some movies broaden my understanding and appreciation of the world. Cooking I love cooking (mainly Chinese food, sometimes western cuisine like Steak and Pizza). From soups to main dishes, I love to try every interesting recipe that I know. A delicious and decent meal not only satisfies my stomach, but also makes me physically strong and active. See my homemade mooncake, a traditional Chinese bakery. Coin Collecting I collect U.S. coins as well as worldwide coins. I enjoy searching interesting coins and any oldies from circulation. The oldest U.S. coin I have ever found till now is a 1896 Indian Head Penny through coin roll hunting. The rarest coin I have ever found till now is a 1950D Jefferson nickel in very good condition. I also have a 1938S first-year issue Jefferson nickel in almost uncirculated condition. My current goal is to finish my Jefferson nickel folder and Lincoln cents folder.
