Teaching Philosophy

My teaching philosophy is that every child deserves a positive male role model. I was raised by a single mother, and today, more than ever, children are growing up in the same situation. The difference between myself and many other children is that I had a solid foundation of people around me who were instrumental in my success both in, and outside of the classroom. The children who don't have the same foundation need positive role models to emulate and educators who are focused on helping them succeed. I want to help children succeed.
