I am not black. I am not a negro. I am not a nigger neither am I your nigga. I am not an African-American. I am not a homosexual, neither am I a fag, faggot, queer, queen and any of the sort. I am not gay. I am not a Christian. I am not a Muslim. I am not Jewish. I am not Catholic. I am not what you want me to be. I cannot fit inside your box. I cannot reduce myself to your small mindedness.
What I can do is to look inside the depths of my soul to find the me that I love. The me that I respect.
I was born and raised in Miami on the mean streets of Liberty City. Even though I grew up in a poverty stricken neighborhood, most of my childhood memories are positive. I think growing up in that tough environment has thicken my skin and has made me appreciate and be thankful for everything that I have.
