Vending Machines

Here on the campus of the University of Florida exists a variety of vending machines.  Currently there are over 400 Pepsi and Canteen vending machines offering beverages and snacks.  The snacks range from candy bars, chips, sandwiches, gum, and ice cream.  Beverages include energy drinks, sodas, coffee and teas.  A student can easily stand in one spot on campus and pin-point a vending machine that is within 2 minutes of walking.  They are located in practically every academic and administrative buildings, student residential halls, and recreational facilities.  Students find the vending machines very convenient because they are operated with coins, paper currency and Gator1 cards that have a declining balance account.
