Teaching
During my PhD, I have been a teaching assistant for the following courses since Spring 2008:Undergraduate Level
- EML 3100: Undergraduate Thermodynamics (Spring 2008, Fall 2008, Summer 2011)
- EML 4314C: Dynamics & Controls System Design Lab (Summer2008)
- EAS 4300: Aerospace Propulsion (Spring 2009, Spring 2012)
- EAS 4132: Compressible Flow (Fall 2009, Fall 2010)
- EML 4304C: Thermo-Fluids Design and Lab (Summer 2012)
- EML 5714: Introduction to Compressible Flow (Fall 2009, Fall 2010)
- EML 5104: Graduate Thermodynamics (Spring 2010, Spring 2011)
- EGM 5121: Data Measurement and Analysis (Fall 2011)
My responsibilities as a teaching assistant included holding office hours for students every week, evaluating homework and exams, proctoring exams, and lecturing periodically undergraduate and graduate classes. Some undergraduate classes have over 225 registered students, while graduate classes can have up to 100. I was also involved in occasional recitation classes, where I was assigned to conduct problem-solving sessions. I thoroughly enjoyed being a teaching assistant, and I received excellent reviews from professors every semester. It was a very rewarding experience and a great learning opportunity for me.
