What is a collage?
A
collage is an assemblage of diverse elements. These elements can be in
either a literary or an artistic form.
A
literary collage could be a piece compiled of both original and borrowed
material.
An
art collage could be made of almost any materials placed together on a
surface.
As
a verb, to collage is to paste (diverse materials) over a surface, thereby
creating an artistic product.
In
this class we will be making three collages.
