Currently, Hong is a Ph.D candidate in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Florida, Gainesville, and he expects to graduate in Summer, 2009. He joined the Integrated Circuit Research Group in Fall, 2004 as a research assistant. His research interests includes mixed signal /RF circuit and communication system design using CMOS technology, radio frequency identification system, biomedical related micro-systems implementation, low power integrated circuit design, and miniature communication antenna design.
Hong received his M.Sc. degree from University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2004, where he designed a high performance, dual band (13.4GHz and 35.6GHz), dual polarized antenna feed system for a weather profiling radar. Hong received his B.S. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, Anhui, P. R. China, in 2001.
