Expect to find sentences and phrases that spill over into the following line. Pay close attention to agreement of adj’s w/ their nouns.

 

256 dēhinc tālia fātur = then he (sator) says such things (tālia)

263 ferōcīs = ferōcēs (in Augustan Period) ~ take w/ populōsque as objects of contundet

264 virīs = to/for the men (dative of advantage)

278 Hīs = for these people (i.e. the Romans)

       mētās = limits; tempora = time limits
