• Completed Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering at National Institute of Technology, Durgapur (under Ministry of Human Resource & Development, Government of India).

• Passed class XII in ISC board from Calcutta Boys' School, Kolkata in the year 2004 with a aggregate of 94.25% marks.

• Passed class X from ICSE board from Calcutta Boys' School, Kolkata in the year 2002 with an aggreate of 92.5% marks.

 

Research

 

• Successfully completed a project on "Generation of Various topologies of Peer to Peer overlay complex networks" under Dr.Niloy Ganguly, Asst Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.

• Researched on Markov chain modeling of stochastic characteristics of networks along with Partha Bhattachajee under Dr. Gautam Sanyal, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Durgapur. The paper which has been come out of the project has been which has been sent to the International Journal for Computer Mathematics (U.K.) and Wiley Networks (USA) for publication

• Researched on “A Reality Based Model for Simulation-Based Study of the Traffic Movement of a City” under Mr. Subrata Nandi, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Durgapur.

 

Achievements

 

• Was awarded the 3rd prize at an inter college paper presentation on a paper on “Peer to peer networks”.

• Awarded 1st Prize for Hacking Competition in MUKTI ’06, 2nd prize at WIPRO sponsored C-programming contest in MUKTI -07, 3rd prizes in System Administration in MUKTI-07

• Qualified in the finals of Overnite, (the C coding contest) at KSHITIJ-06 – the technical festival of Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.

• Awarded the 2nd Prize for Khula Maidan (Over night programming Contest) in Aarohan 2k7, a National Level Techno- management Festival held during March 9 – 11, 2007, awarded 3rd prize at Code Marauders – C Debugging contest at Aarohan 2k6.
