Each of these 6 piano pieces were
designed, and can be explained, either harmonically or melodically, by
one of 6 possible intervals (or inversions). The intervals are: m2M7, M2m7,
m3M6, M3m6, P4P5, and Tritone. Implied harmony and fragmented melody and
harmony were used at times for justification. In fragmented harmony and
melody these intervals are not necessarily used at the same time or next
to each other, but can be seen in fragments throughout a phrase or group
of phrases. Essentially, scales are formed with groups of these intervals.
These pieces are dedicated with love to my beautiful children; Hannah,
Abraham, and Eziah, through whom God has shown me many of the intervals
of life.
