Over the weekend I ordered all the parts I need and they have started to come in. I have almost finished the preliminary design for the platform but I cannot finalize it without my drive components in hand. This will make it difficult to make the Monday deadline since the parts are not scheduled for delivery until Monday and Tuesday. However, I think I can estimate well enough to be able to build something. This week I also performed a very simple servo control demo in lab. I was able to get as a free sample two accelerometer chips. They are chips only so next week I will talk to someone about building them onto boards.
