general introduction to the field of psychology, this course is the prerequisite
for advanced courses in psychology. Emphasis is on psychology as a research
enterprise. Students are required to participate as subjects in psychological
research or write a paper on a psychological research article.
ANT 2301 - Human Sexuality and
Culture

This course examines (1) aspects
of sexuality from a cross-cultural viewpoint and (2) traces the development
of an individual's sexuality and sexual identity. Sexual anatomy and functioning,
gender roles, and the interplay of behavior and sexual ethics are discussed.

AST 1022L - Astronomy Laboratory

An elementary introduction to
experimental work in astronomy, includes both scheduled laboratory exercises
during the day in the teaching lab and evening observational astronomy
at the on-campus teaching observatory.
