-4Seasons
Hello and Welcome to the 4Seasons dance team's webpage. We are very glad to have you join us. 4Seasons is a Vietnamese cultural dance group in Central Florida. We are requested throughout Florida to perform for many occasions, such as the Vietnamese New Year, Lunar New Year, and cultural fairs at Disney. Some of the dancers have been performing for almost ten years, but the 4Seasons has only been established for two years.
4Seasons started out with five girls and has
grown to as large as fourteen girls. The original five girls are Hang
Pham, Tammy Tran, Kim Tran, Bettina Tran, and Lily Nguyen. Hang has
organized cultural dances and performed for schools and Vietnamese organizations
before the Tran sisters have moved to Florida. Before the Tran's moved to
Florida, they have also been performing for religious organizations and schools.
Hang and the Tran's both had their own performances during the Pine Hills
Organization's Tet Trung Thu festival at Meadowbrook Middle School. They saw saw
each other's talent and hoped to someday work with each other. Hang and the
Tran's participated in a performance together during August 2002 for "Ngay Nho Hue"
and became closer friends. Hang was asked to organize a dance for the St. Pete
's Tet in 2003. She gathered many of the new friends she made from the
last performance and they made up two dances, "Hen Ho Dem Trang" and "Mua Tren
Pho." After weeks of practice, they all headed down to St. Pete for their
first performance without an adult choreographer and it was a huge success. When Tet 2003 in Orlando rolled around the corner,
Hang thought that it would
be a great idea to perform for the Cong Dong VN's (Vietnamese Association) big
Tet celebration at the Central Florida fairgrounds. She asked the Tran
sisters and Lily to join and they enthusiastically accepted. After a
wonderful performance, the CDVN have been requesting the 4Seasons to perform
every Tet occasion. Even schools, such as the University of Central Florida and
the University of Florida request performances
for their Tet Trung Thu and Tet shows.
