If you're looking for a great, relatively cheap and easy power mod, look no further than your intermediate exhaust pipe.  My car came with 4 (Yes, four!  Believe it or not SN-95 mustangs came with up to six!) factory catalytic converters that seemed to hold up the exhaust more than I would have liked.  By the removal of these cats, the car sounds incredible and revs freely throughout the power band.  This pipe is considered to be the mix between X and H pipes, and with the addition of the chamber in the crossover, the sound is incredible.  On my car, with the STEEDA exhaust (flow-through), it helped the "exotic" Borla sound gain a little more bark and quite a bit more bass.  I've heard it on cars with Flowmaster and MAC exhaust (chambered) and the sound is VERY deep.  My only complaint with the system, as with MAC Headers also, is the coating they come with from the factory.  I would prefer it be stainless, but I'd rather have the sound of the chamber and thus far am completely satisfied with how the pipe is holding up!   Here is a link to a video of my exact exhaust setup (although it is not on my car..).

...Now I know this could be considered harmful to the environment, but I consider my car even with the absence of cats, to be better on the environment then more than 1/2 of the cars out there.
