This piece manufactured by STEEA is an amazing addition to any manual mustang.  Racer or not, this shifter undoubtedly made shifting much easier than the stock setup and the feel of the car became much more solid.  The Tri-Ax removed the "mushy & rubbery" feel of the stock shifter.  Although some people complain of more drive train noise, the only sounds I've really experienced are a "click" when engaging into each gear.  In my opinion, the sound is actually pretty cool.
