1. Purpose of the listservice:The purpose of this listservice is to facilitate communication
and the exchange of academic information on the topic of
paleolimnology. The Paleolimnology Forum serves as a
communications medium for the newly forming
InternationalPaleolimnology Association.
2. Topics permitted on the listservice:
The Paleolimnology Forum is a moderated listservice.
Advertisements from commercial businesses and postings
that are not related to paleolimnology will not be approved for
the listservice. Subscribers can feel confident that they will
receive only mail that is pertinent to paleolimnology.
3. Submitting messages to the listservice:
If you would like to submit a message to the listservice,
send your e-mail message to:When you submit a message to the listservice, your message
will go to all subscribers.
4. Replying to messages on the listservice:
When a person uses their normal e-mail 'reply' function to respond to a
posting on the listservice, their reply goes only to the original sender.
This helps to keep the volume of e-mail messages on the listservice more
manageable.If you think your reply is of interest to all subscribers, you can direct
your reply instead to paleolim@lists.ufl.edu so all subscribers will
receive your message.
