I am a Clinical Assistant Professor at the College of Education, University of Florida. I teach in the Educational Technology Program and coordinate the online Professional Practice Doctorate offered at the School of Teaching and Learning. I am lucky to be part of a team of enthusiastic, creative, and positive professionals.

My research interests include online education, blended learning, professional development for teachers and faculty, and online learning communities. I enjoy teaching online and exploring the usefulness of new online technologies to supplement teaching and learning in classrooms. My own teaching and collaboration with teachers has taught me that technology, if used thoughtfully, can greatly enhance the learning experience and motivate learners.

Asynchronous online discussions were the focus of my dissertation research at Boston University, MA. My prior work experience includes faculty development in new technologies, training evaluation, and teacher development.
