Meeting time
The online meeting time is currently set on Wednesdays, 8-10 p.m. EST. Attendance is not required, but strongly advised. I will be online at that time for the discussion board (in WebCT) to field questions and share comments about the week's assignment. I will not be collecting translations; it is up to you to do the work. However, there will be short weekly quizzes on translation and background reading (see below on 'Exams, Testing, and Grading.')
You may post a question or comment on the discussion board any time you wish during the week leading up to class time. Please note for scheduling your work on WebCT that maintenance on the main WebCT website is often performed on Saturday nights (9 PM) and early Sunday mornings. Therefore at these times WebCT may be shut down.
