I have this zoom lens my father gave me, from Sears, it had this thing on it called a "macro setting". You turn the barrel of the lens and it now focused much closer, but depth of field gets shot to hell. I had to use alot of contrast in printing to increase the sharpness and plus in such a long lens light is scarce.
