these are just three fun little pins i decided to photograph together as a trio. the one at left is bronze, sterling silver and 14 kt gold. it reminded me of a hobby-horse. the center piece is sterling and 14 kt gold with a drop cast dangle at the bottom. this free-form way of casting metals yields some very interesting shapes. the pin at the right is also sterling and 14 kt gold. the little handle in the center of the pin turns like a crank. this in combination with the curled fib (pin stem) reminded me of an organ grinder with his monkey. so, it's titled "the organ grinder"
