soul pendant... 
the "soul" in this piece is frosted acrylic with sterling and 14 kt gold. the stone in the dangling heart is an opal cut by my father. a natural south sea grey pearl hangs from the heart attatchment. the stand has a frosted acrylic base with fused sterling legs. the soul is detatchable from the base and hooks to a chain to be worn as a necklace. the pearl was bought from the widow of a good friend and jeweler who died, and held on to for six years. the piece was made very shortly after his death.
