The Alachua Sink Diet Course Two includes the area: UTM NAD27 17R 368000-396000E, 3254000-3288000N and begins at 0800 on Saturday, March 7, 2009 (regardless of the weather) at the City of Gainesville, Florida Kiwanis Challenge Playland (UTM NAD27 17R 369309E, 3284551N) with a three to four mile bike prologue.

When your team has successfully completed the prologue, you will receive instructions for the first bike segment which includes a short trek loop. When your team has successfully completed the twenty–two to twenty–four mile bike segment, you will receive instructions for the first trek segment. When your team has successfully completed the eighteen to twenty mile trek segment, you will receive instructions for the paddle segment. When your team has successfully completed the fifty to fifty–five mile paddle segment, you will receive instructions for the second bike segment. When your team has successfully completed the ninety to ninety–five mile bike segment, your team will receive instructions for the eighteen to twenty mile urban trek necessary to finish the course at the City of Gainesville, Florida Kiwanis Challenge Playland.

Support crews may assist their team at any of the transition areas as well as two rest stops (one during the paddle segment and a another during the second bike segment).
