The Alachua Sink Diet Course One includes the area: UTM NAD27 17R 341000-371000E, 3283000-3314000N and begins at 0800 on Saturday, September 13, 2008 (regardless of the weather) at the City of Gainesville, Florida Kiwanis Challenge Playland (UTM NAD27 17R 369309E, 3284551N) with a five to six mile bike prologue.

When your team has successfully completed the prologue, you will receive instructions for the first bike segment. When your team has successfully completed the seven to eight mile bike segment, you will receive instructions for the trek segment. When your team has successfully completed the twenty–six to twenty–eight mile trek segment, you will receive instructions for the second bike segment. When your team has successfully completed the forty–two and forty–five mile bike segment, you will receive instructions for the paddle segment. When your team has successfully completed the eighteen to twenty mile paddle segment, you will receive instructions for the forty–two to forty–five mile bike segment necessary to finish the course at the City of Gainesville, Florida Kiwanis Challenge Playland.

Support crews may assist their team at any of the transition areas.
