April 9-13: Students continue reading Cicero's Pro Caelio (sections . Students are expected to come to class prepared to:

  • translate the text as literal as possible from Latin to English.
  • discuss the content of the text and the oratorical devices employed by Cicero.
  • demonstrate knowledge of assigned text, discussing both content and form, on a 'pop' quiz.
