About
Hi there! Welcome to my page! I made this while I was a student at University of Florida. Since then, I have graduated with a Masters in Chemical Engineering, and owing to my love for programming I have gained vital experience working in Software Engineering roles at various capacities at Egen and Uptake.
Thankfully getting to work with an early stage company, I touched pretty much all areas of enterprise software. Be it application development, some level of prototyping, database management or infrastructure, I had the opportunity to do it all. Areas of the stack/frameworks I am familiar with at my job -
- Frontend - HTML5, CSS3, JS, ES6, AngularJS, Angular, VueJS, Hapi, Ionic
- Backend - Java8, Spring Framework, NodeJS
- Databases - Elasticsearch, Postgres, SQL, Mongo, Redis
- Everything else - Gradle, Maven, Webpack, npm, Docker, Mesos DC/OS, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins, Terraform, AWS, Google Cloud Platform
Currently, I am very excited about the world of containers and optimizing systems/infrastructure. I am interested in positions where I can utilize my skills and knowledge to benefit the company and pursue significant professional goals.
I am the most outrageously ambitious person you'd probably meet. I want to learn skills, all kinds of them. Few times, I let myself go far away into oblivion with this obsession. Such experiences are enticing, exciting, exhilarating and sometimes even exhausting. Nonetheless, they almost always end up being entertaining. You may say that I'm a dreamer, but I am not the only one.
My research interests lie in Control Theory, Machine Learning, and Automation that enable us humans to do more. I spend a lot of time learning on Coursera, Codecademy, HackerRank, Microsoft Virtual Academy, Udacity, Duolingo and Vocabulary. When I am not working, you would find me either training for endurance events(Ironmans/Marathons), or on a slightly less intensity juggling, playing music, writing, or dabbling in some new activity. I relentlessly push myself out of my comfort zone, physically and mentally, because that's where all the magic happens.
