The purpose of this project is to promote awareness among local school children of endangered animals in the Florida area. We produced simple hand-made books with illustrations of selected animals done in watercolor. These were scanned into the computer for layout purposes. The books were bound and distributed to selected elementary schools in the Gainesville area and made available to children through their school libraries. A hyper-media presentation was also produced and made available on disk.
