shake LED flashlight
Being an outdoors man I have always loved all the new and innovative items that they come up with to make the outdoor experience a bit more pleasurable. I love to get the hunting and fishing gifts that my family always comes up with for me, and I have used just about all of them. The one item that I got last Christmas from my sister was a shake LED flashlight. It wasn't a cheap one, but a really nice one, she must have spent a lot on the thing. I don't know if you have ever seen one of these flashlights but basically they operate just by shaking them, no batteries needed. I love that because in the past, I have always had to stock and carry batteries with me in case I get into a jam. Let's face it, you can never tell when batteries are going to go out, and even new ones don't always last very long, so this is a great idea. I had heard mixed reviews about these flashlights. Some people told me that they were good but not as bright as a regular flashlight. Some people told me you had to do a lot of shaking for a little bit of light time, and then you had to start shaking again. They found them tiresome and quite honestly not really worth the effort. Well, I must have gotten a top of the line one, or maybe they just improved the design since they first came out with them. Mine is so good, I can barely keep my friend's hands off it. They love my flashlight, but they are out of luck because so do I and I wouldn't go back to a regular flashlight, not even if you paid me.
I guess what I am trying to say is it is like anything else, you get what you pay for. My shake flashlight is by far one of the nicest and most useful gifts I have ever gotten, besides my head flashlight, which ironically my sister gave to me about a year ago for Christmas. Great gifts sis, thanks!
