Maryland chiropractic

My first experience with a chiropractor left me wanting more. As time went on I learned more and more about the field of chiropractic and my own feelings about it began to develop. I loved it so much I became a chiropractic assistant and then an office manager in a chiropractic office. It was a rewarding experience; however, I still wanted more, so I began to pursue a career in chiropractic. I had met many chiropractors and had experienced a wide variety of chiropractic techniques. I really felt that I had a grasp on what chiropractic was about and began taking my undergraduate courses to go to chiropractic school. The joke is that science has never been a strong subject for me, but I tried and succeeded at the many science courses that were put in front of me.

While home on break from doing my undergraduate work I decided to look up one of the many Maryland chiropractors in my area and go to get adjusted. While I was there I was still learning more about my home state rules and regulations. It seems that in Maryland chiropractic is more difficult to get into then in other states. Many chiropractors do not go and get a full bachelor's degree before finishing chiropractic school and then they are not eligible to practice in Maryland.

I was not really thrilled at the idea that it was going to be more difficult for me to practice in Maryland than in any other state. No pain, no gain so I decided I would have to really get on the ball if I were going to practice in MD.

Well, I met a really great chiropractor on that break and he taught me a lot. He even offered me to come and do an internship with him at the end of chiropractic school and said that if I wanted to spend some time learning the ropes during one or all of my breaks to just come on and he would be glad to show me the ropes.

Honestly, through chiropractic I have met some of the nicest human beings on the face of the planet. They will really help you, if you are interest in joining the profession. They don't seem to be afraid of competition at all, instead quite honestly they seem to welcome it.
