Weekly Report 9

This week I finished my system schematic and assembled most of the electronics on my main circuit board.  Unfortunately, I hadn’t realized that the H-bridge motor drivers I was using (LMD18200’s) needed a minimum of 12V to operate, and I am using a 7.2 NiMH battery pack.  I found some other H-bridge chips that should work and have ordered them and should be able to replace the first ones next week.  I was able to test them with a 12V power supply though and verify that the PWM software was working.  I also did some testing with the CMUcam and determined that it should work well enough to find the ball and find the hole marker from at least 5-6 feet.
