Weekly Report 1

I wrote down and fleshed out my ideas for the Putterbot in my notebook.  I also outlined a preliminary schedule for development (mostly following the syllabus).  I chose a development board (MAVRIC-IIB) after evaluating the options (AVR vs. PIC, different boards).  I also spent some time brainstorming the different design options (hole detection, putting mechanism).  I am planning to use some programs I developed previously (LCD, servo, IR, sonar) if possible for the Putterbot.
