I am Vijay Pappu, 3rd year Ph.D. candidate in the department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at University of Florida Gainesville, FL. My graduate advisor is Dist. Prof. Dr. Panos Pardalos. I recently received a Master’s degree in the department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at UF.

My research interests include building supervised learning models for classification and feature selection on high dimensional datasets.

Prior to joining UF for Ph.D., I worked in MathWorks (maker of MATLAB) for 2 years as an Application Support Engineer.

I graduated with a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in 2008.

I also received an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras in 2006.

I hope you would find all the information that you are looking about me on my website.
