All throughout my life, I have dreamed of becoming an elementary school
teacher. Not only that, I have dreamed of becoming the best elementary
school teacher. My main purpose for teaching is to transform my love for
teaching to my students' love for learning. I want my students to develop
a yearn for education, like a few of the good teachers at my old schools
did for me. I have learned from a couple of my favorite teachers that you
have to be self-motivated to be a successful student, and to succeed as
a teacher you have to help others to become motivated as well.
The love
of learning is the firm foundation on which excellent teachers thrive.
I want to teach my students that learning can be fun, and that not all
work has to be thought of as, well, work. I want to be able to walk into
my classroom and see a room full of smiles, all ready and excited to start
a fulfilling day of education in the classroom. I know that this imaginary
picture I have in my head is just that: imaginary. But, I will do my best
to make this dream possible. I know not every student will be excited to
learn. But, my job is to try my hardest to get them there. My job is to
teach, and to expand my methods of teaching to every separate, individual
student. My classroom will be an educational journey to higher learning.
My greatest achievement would be to instill a little piece of love for
education in all my students, no matter how great the challenge.
