Goals:
-
To pursue a grade no lower than
a "B" in all of my classes, education classes especially.
-
To learn as much as possible in
all of my education classes and apply my knowledge to real-world classrooms.
-
To be involved in different campus
activities and leadership positions to better prepare myself for involvement
with elementary school activities within the work environment.
-
To graduate from the University
of Florida during the month of May, 2005, with a Masters degree in Unified
Elementary Education.
-
To get a job at a respectable
school after all of my hard work at UF and enjoy every minute of it.
Accomplishments:
-
I have received no lower than
a grade of "B" in any of my classes during the semesters I have been enrolled
in so far during the course of my education at the University of Florida.
-
During the Spring semester of
2001, I received a President's Academic Honor Roll certificate for achieving
a 4.0 while taking 12 credits.
-
After a great academic first year
being enrolled at the University of Florida, I was nominated to be a member
of two nationally recognized honor societies: Alpha Lambda Delta, and the
National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
-
I currently have one of the top
GPA's in my sorority, Pi Beta Phi.
-
I have participated in numerous
philanthropies at the University of Florida, one of which being the UF
Dance Marathon supporting the Children's Miracle Network. During the course
of 32 hours, I had to stand up on my feet and be awake at all times while
raising money for the children.
-
I have accumulated numerous volunteer
hours at three different elementary schools, so as to get a feel for different
educational environments.
-
I have made all of my family and
friends extremely proud of me, and will continue to strive to do so throughout
the rest of my enrollment at the University of Florida and beyond.
