• Some questions may be from parts of the book, not discussed in the classroom. In other words do NOT rely solely on the power point slides for your final exam.

Files 1 and 2 : Try to understand the definitions and key terms.

File 3 : IPA symbols, transcription (to and from IPA).

File 4 : Natural classes, Definitions, solving problem sets.

Remember, a rule in words should be like:

A becomes B when they are in the environment C

NOT A occurs before D and B occurs before E.

A formal rule is: AàB / C

File 5 : Morphological processes, examples, analyzing data.

File 6 : Concepts, tree, data analysis.

File 7 : Key concepts, types, analyzing data using each type.

File 8 : Key concepts.

File 9 : Read very carefully. You may skip 9.7, 9.8, 9.9

File 10 : Key concepts. Case studies.

File 11 : Characteristics of all the phenomenon.
