Introduction
Teo Morca returns to Gainesville, Florida for an all-flamenco weekend workshop from Thursday, August 3, 2006 through Sunday, August 6, 2006, with private and semi-private classes available the week before (and evenings after the workshop as well).
The curriculum will include intermediate technique, stressing the Morca method of working from the upper body down, with stretching and toning sessions in the morning, and “charlas” (informal lectures) in the afternoons.
Repertoire will focus on two of the most important palos in flamenco: seguiriyas and bulerías. These classes are designed for those familiar with the 12-count compás and will provide insight into the complete structure of both dances as well as a beautiful choreography for seguiriyas and Morca’s famous “instant bulerías recipe”.
Join us in Gainesville, Florida to study with one of the last great flamenco masters. Tuition is only $285 for the entire workshop, with flexible fees for private and semi-private classes. Beginners are welcome to experience this level of training, so don’t be shy!
