Gangster Hamlet Concept

Ever since their great, great grandfather immigrated to America at the turn of the 20th century, the Darmody family has been well known through all of Philadelphia. The fame is a result of running Philly's "waste management" industry for more than four generations. The Darmody mob ran the whole city. Nothing got stolen, no drugs got sold, and no one was killed without a word from the boss man, Hamlet. They were a tight bunch with only family at the higher levels of authority. But not even the closet criminal organizations can avoid treachery within the ranks. Hamlet's brother, Claudius, always had too much ambition for his own good. You may ask, how one can have too much ambition? In a line of work such as Claudius's, most times its better to keep your head down, or else it might get taken off. When old Hamlet got whacked a few people raised an eyebrow, but like I said, sometimes you just don't ask questions. Still, no one could blame little Hamlet, the dead boss's son, for being a little bit more aloof after his uncle supposedly murdered his father. The whole situation is like waiting for a bomb to detonate. No one expects little Hamlet to let this type of thing go, but what can he do? Claudius is the boss and there is basically nothing to stop him from having Hamlet killed. The situation is a heavy burden on Hamlet's mind; it's really messing the kid up. Everyone in the business is hoping that there is a peaceful resolution (yea, right...) or its going to cost all of us.
