Helen, a successful business woman, was just fired from her job without a notice. She immediately took her things from her office and headed straight for the elevator.

 Inside the elevator Helen's earring fell out, but in kindness a man recovered the ivory like jewel from the ground and handed it to Helen.

 "Thank you very much; it's been such a rough day."

 In his charming English accent he said, "I'm sorry that your day is going so bad, but I bet it can only get better from here."

 
The elevator door opens.

"Your right, it can only get better from here."

 The elevator door began to shut but in her haste to make the subway train she thanks the man for the kind gesture and speeds off out the elevator.
